Walking Ix (ee`sh):
In the Mayan Oracle, Ix represents "integrity, heart-knowing, alignment with divine will, magician, shaman, jaguar, night seer, priest, torch bearer, magic." When I asked the Oracle what Star-Glyph represented my purpose in this website, Ix was the answer.
Holding fast to the qualities of Ix, this journal chronicles my spiritual path. On the path, I will occasionally write organized essays on spiritual subjects, those will appear under Pieces below.

My cat is sitting in the window contemplating the rain. I think he has missed it. I know he has missed sitting in an open window. He's not quite my familiar, but he's definitely more than a pet. As my boi describes two of her cats, he's an energy being in a cat suit.
We've been wondering about animal reincarnation lately. One of her cats was affectionately called "stupid cat" when he first moved to the apartment. A few weeks ago, he underwent a complete personality shift. We describe it to friends as "he woke up!" In the last few days, my boi has observed a few situations where formerly stupid cat exhibited traits of a beloved cat who died a few years ago. I told her that I don't know how cat reincarnation works. I have the barest understanding of how human reincarnation operates.
If our cats can interact with our spirit guides and energy beings, then they probably have spirits and souls that reincarnate just as ours do. Maybe I'll sit my cat down after the rain stops and have a chat about the subject.
